🦆 Week 5 updates

Team T-shirts are here!

Tonight and just before team pictures are taken Board Members Saeideh Dadfar and Jennifer Schnetter will be passing out team shirts. Tomorrow AM- board member Hanh Phan will be getting the shirts out during practice. 

Special thank you to Hanh for coordinating ordering/sizes and names for these shirts. 

We only ordered enough for our swimmers, and we have 83 swimmers so please forgive us if there are errors in sizing. If in doubt, we rounded up to the next biggest size. 

Picture day is tomorrow. 

Please wear team suits if you have them, but any swimwear is acceptable. You can also wear the team shirt! Photographers will be setting up at 6:30, but our team should arrive at 7:30 sharp since we start with the group photo then move on to individuals. 

Meet Sign up is open now for Mallards vs Mallards (MOB vs MOB) home meet. 

By now we hope you have signed up for the swimtopia app. 

Swimmer instructions

You should be able to "declare" your swimmer. This means that your swimmer will be there that day. Declaring allows the coaches to chose your swimmer for different meet events. The ability to sign up closes the day before at 12 noon so that coaches can finalize the rosters and share them with the other team and the league. (this means you won't be able to sign your kid up after 6/8 at noon) for the next race. If you make an error, or can't come after declaring, let me or the coaches know and we can correct it in the app. (209) 608-4125. texts are welcome- please be patient with me. 

Job Signups

I've opened up job signups. You can sign up for anything except stroke and turn since that requires training. Everything else sounds daunting but is super simple and can be taught in 30 seconds or less. Time me! Job signup end the day before a meet at 8am (6/8 at 8 am).

Volunteer Coordinator

This year Hanh Phan will be acting as our coordinator. She will be the point of contact so you know where you should be, what you will need and how you need to do things.
